| Air Monitoring / Exposure Assessments |
Airborne contaminants can present a significant threat to workers' health and safety. Thus, identification and quantification of these contaminants is an essential component of accurate air monitoring. This is done through air monitoring, onsite assessments that include; a walk through at the facility to determine routine job tasks that may have potential respiratory hazards, interview of employees in exposed area(s), and a review of current MSDS inventories. Depending on the exposures, air sampling may need to be conducted on 6 - 12 month intervals. A comprehensive, written report includes: a CIH written report, suggested corrective actions, lab results, and PPE recommendations. |
| Ergonomic Evaluation |
This fully documented report is designed for employees experiencing medical symptoms. The participant is trained on the essentials of setting up an optimum workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. A comprehensive, written report includes photos of the employee's workstation and posture, with recommendations for behavioral, postural and ergonomic adaptive devices. |
| Heat Stress |
Measurements are conducted in hot environments using the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT). Test results are used to determine the proper work-rest regimens. The employee acclimatization state, work demand, and clothing are just a few factors considered in making these determinations. |
| Noise Monitoring |
This evaluation will be conducted at your location, with your employees performing their normal duties. As per OSHA, if the level is 85 dB(A) in an 8-hour TWA, a noise reduction plan is required. A comprehensive, written report with suggested corrective actions, lab results, and PPE recommendations will be provided. |
