Back to Top EPA Training focuses on training your employees to eliminate the release of pollutants and wastes, on and off-site. It is also designed to provide education in the areas of company liability. The Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) are just a few examples of regulations that require training.
Safety Training is one of the most important elements in an OSHA compliance program. Providing your workers with complete information as to the processes they are involved in, the equipment they use, the protection available, and the potential effects of exposure to chemicals is extremely important to OSHA. More than 100 of OSHA's current standards contain specific training requirements.
DOT Training requirements in Part 172 Subpart H of the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) ensure that each hazmat employer trains its hazmat employees to safely load, unload, handle, store and transport hazardous materials. A hazmat employer must train, test and certify every hazmat employee who, in the course of employment, has any function that directly affects hazardous materials transportation safety and security. New hazmat employees must receive this training within 90 days of employment.
