Train-the-Trainer Courses

We can provide training to authorized personnel assigned to train other employees.  Candidates should already be currently trained in the course topic they are going to teach.  The candidates will be instructed on each of the course objectives with an in depth analysis of how and what to teach in each objective.  Trainer candidates will also be instructed on how to present information in a classroom or training environment.  Trainer candidates will also be shown educational tools that assist in effective information transfer for varied skill and knowledge levels of adult learners and students.

Transport Trailer Safety Training

Trenching & Excavation - Awareness Training

In this training session, we will discuss the basics of trenching and shoring. Because each job is different, this session is intended only to provide a background of information on which to begin building your experience. Key issues: trenching hazards, soil types and classification, shoring and shielding, federal and state requirements, competent person role, and utility marking requirements.

Trenching & Excavation - Competent Person

This training program is intended for individuals designated as the Competent Person during excavation and trenching activities, which may include managers, supervisors, lead workers or operators. It provides a fundamental understanding of excavation and trenching standards for the Competent Person, and exceeds state and federal training requirements.

Competent person means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings, or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.  

Prerequisites: Previous excavation knowledge and experience.

Trench Rescue - Awareness, Operations, & Technicians

This course covers topics from OSHA and NFPA guidelines.  These include OSHA Regulations, Hazard Assessment, Soil Profiles, Rescue Equipment, Ventilation, Safety Procedures and Support Criteria, Proper Use of Tools and Equipment, Assembling Shoring Panels, Basic Shoring Procedures, and Hands On Shoring Practices.
